Stuff To Make Noise With

Over the years, we have collected 1000’s of things that make NOISE. This stuff is somewhat organized in our Foley Room so we can find items quickly.

From scrounging around garage sales or early morning trips to Home Depot, we always find interesting objects that make useful NOISE.

Here is a very short list of some things we have used to make the audience think they hear what they are seeing.

  • Pine Cones
  • Distressed Leather Jacket
  • Pringles Cans
  • Wheel and brake drum from 1987 Volvo 240 DL
  • Stack of phone books wrapped with paper towels and duct tape
  • Metal Scary Box – contraption with levers, springs and sproingy metal pieces
  • Vacuum hose from a 1960’s EurekaΒ
  • Switch Box – collection of light switches, toggle switches and breakersΒ
